Nor E First Response, Inc is a product development/marketing company established in 1998. Our focus has specialized in the design, manufacturing, marketing and commissioning of trailerized mobile emergency response products, and value added systems & accessories to the Fire, Public Safety, Homeland & Civil Defense, HazMat, EMS, Defense & Medical markets.
In 1998, Nor E launched the popular MEDecon series of mobile self-contained decontamination systems (tent and trailer based) for mass casualty CBRN incidents. Our customer base includes the Veteran’s Administration hospital system, Kaiser Permanente, US Army, National Guard CERFP/ CST, as well as hundreds of federal, state, county, and city response agencies, the Australian EMA, and responder agencies in Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, Canada, Brazil, and the European Community.
Functional engineering and multi-functional design is the “secret sauce” to Nor E’s success. Nor E offers product that not only meets ‘mass casualty’ decontamination requirements, but also day to day demands of hazmat teams, and command/control. Truly mutli-functional tools of the trade.
2005 saw the launch of the Cabana, the next generation of mobile shelter technology. The Cabana line is a mobile multi-functional operations platform in a lightweight self-contained easily deployed package. This bumper pull trailer expands up to 3 ½ times in size, and unlike traditional tent based systems is operational in minutes and creates an environment that is secure and UP & OFF the ground. The Cabana system has been embraced by the Public Safety, Emergency Management, Medical & Business Continuity industries for their remote site temporary facility requirements.
Fire ground rehabilitation has long been a needed service in support of our nations fire, hazmat, and public safety responders. Nor E in consultation with industry experts developed the Cabana Rehab system in 2006. A fully self contained operational REHAB platform providing a secure mobile facility for Rest, Rehydration, Active Cooling, Medical Monitering, Mental Relief, and Nourishment.
New in 2007 is the Commander 535, 480,350 & 300. In the footsteps of the Cabana, the Commander series not only provides the ‘elbow room’, but also customizable workspace, on board power generation, hygiene center, & environmental control for a fully self-contained mobile operations platform. Applications for the Commander range from Command/Control, First Aid, Mobile Hospital, Medical Surge, Business Continuity, Staff Quarters, Office/Classroom, Crime Scene Lab, Mobile Marketing, and more.
